Art Therapist and Counsellor

Randi Martin

Randi is a Professional Art Therapist (CATA) and a Counselling Therapist (ACTA). She has experience working with individuals with neurodevelopmental disabilities, their families, women with addictions, as well as individuals across the lifespan facing a variety of mental health challenges. Randi works with clients to integrate creativity and art with the therapeutic process using a relational positive art therapy approach and practices neurodiversity affirming care. Art therapy combines the creative process and psychotherapy, facilitating self- exploration and understanding. Using imagery, colour and shape as part of this creative therapeutic process, thoughts and feelings can be expressed that would otherwise be difficult to articulate.
